Shelsea started her journey with yoga as a way to balance out athletic activity. It quickly became a resource of mental clarity and healing. She was 19 when she decided to go through Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram. While living on the ashram, she studied Yoga Philosophy, purifying techniques, karma yoga, meditation, chanting, and yoga asana.
After her journey at the Ashram, she began leading yoga classes in New York, then Philadelphia, and later moved to and taught in Washington DC, South Florida and now in South Carolina.
Through out the last 15 years, she has also studied other methods such as Barre, Pilates, HIIT, and also Reiki.
She's worked extensively with professional athletes, college sports teams, as well as recovering abuse victims and people who have had to work through other traumas.
She believes that everyone is on their own healing journey and that we can all learn from each other.
She founded Sea Yoga as a brand that supports people of all levels and backgrounds to meet their goals and individual needs.
Lindsay discovered yoga in 2009. From the start, she knew she wanted to share her experience of the healing power of yoga with the world.
Lindsay completed her 200-hour vinyasa flow certification in 2014 from The Prancing Peacock Yoga Studio in Yardley, PA. In 2015, she completed a 20-hour Restorative Yoga certification. She completed her Reiki training, becoming a Reiki Master in 2017. Just recently, she got certified as an Advanced Level Integrated Energy Therapy(IET) practitioner.
One of the most exciting places Lindsay taught yoga was in Costa Rica.
She has trained with some powerful healers from all over the world.
